Err...

Wow, looking back at my old journal entries. This is a bit awkward.

Yay!

My Denmark costume finally came in the mail! I've been waiting for forever for it, it seems. All I need to worry about now is his boots, his wig (and hat), and...I think that's it. Aside from blue contacts. I've got loads of work to do on Chris though. And, alas, my girlfriend managed to talk me into playing Joey from Yu-Gi-Oh!...That'll be interesting. It's a new experience though and it's totally going to be worth it! I'm absolutely stoked about Anime Weekend Atlanta. It can't come soon enough!

Writer's Block: Future forward

What is the best science fiction movie of all time, and why?

Star Wars, 110% sure of it. Why, you ask? It's a classic! It's just so...so captivating. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who chose Star Wars. Right?

AWA And Other Troubles...

So, I made up my mind as to who I'm going as for Anime Weekend Atlanta; Denmark from Axis Powers Hetalia. Ironically, my ex boyfriend so happens to be going as the same character. Doesn't that suck? Anyway, I'm in need of other Hetalia cosplayers who are going to AWA this year. What's a country without it's enemies and allies, right? If anyone happens to stumble upon this entry, hit me up. Doubtful anyone will though.

I'll be there, too.

AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta)

I can hardly wait anymore. I want to go to AWA now. -Sigh-
I'm going with my girlfriend this year. As far as I know, she's going as Leon from Resident Evil. I'm going as Christopher Redfield from Resident Evil as well, but a few other ideas came to mind. I was thinking of going as Aoi from The GazettE...or something. Hell, even Prussia from Hetalia was on my list. I can't decide! And of course, expense is another problem...Anyway, I'm driving from Texas a few days before the event. I'm missing a few days of school, too, but who really gives a damn when it comes to such an awesome convention? I wouldn't know. This is actually my first time going. I hear it's pretty awesome though. I'm saving up as much money as I possibly can for junk I could buy there. I'd like something to show that I did go, ya know? We might also go see the Resident Evil movie dressed up as our characters. That's going to be awesome!

Hm...

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted here on this site. A lot has happened since I last posted, and I'll try to recall everything to the best of my ability.

Well, school let out on June 4th, thank goodness. I'm not so sure just what I'm going to do about my grade though (I'm technically considered a 10th grader, who is going to take 11th grade classes) Ugh. This whole thing just sucks. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to catch up in school because only 11th graders can take the test required to become seniors. I'm in the books as a 10th grader. GRR! None of this would have happened had it not been for my getting sick with pneumonia. This whole thing just really, really pisses me off. >< My school sucks. I'm held back because of my absences THAT I HAD DOCTOR'S NOTES FOR. I feel a rant coming on. I'm just gonna stop there. *Growl*

Let's see, what else happened this summer? My aunt, who was diagnosed with cancer in April, is doing a lot better. My grandma has to go visit her a lot to be sure that she is okay, which is understanda
ble. My cousin, though, is taking great advantage in such facts. He's always asking me to babysit when I really don't want to. Which reminds me, he owes me 20 bucks for babysitting his brats last week.

I went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince which I admit was okay if you look at it from a movie standpoint. Was nothing like the books though. A lot of my favorite scenes were left out and that made me frown a bit. Met some cool people though, in line waiting for the midnight premiere. We all played Harry Potter clue in the middle of the hallway.

I went to First Friday with my friends, had IHOP. That's about it, haa. Uneventful summer. O.o

Myspace is being a real pain in the ass though, with all the updates. I roleplay as Wolverine on the site but even that is getting under my skin. Damn you TOM, and damn the updates.

Anyway, yeah, short post. What can you expect? I'm lazy. :P

Half-Blood Prince;

Well, I just ordered Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tickets, for the midnight showing, and I havn't anyone to go with. Boy, this sucks. Gary was suppose to go with me, but he has TAKS testing to go to so that sucks. I don't know who I'm going with now. ~,~...I need to hold someone's hand when I see Severus, so I can squeeze the life out of it. *Siiiigh*

(no subject)

Well, I should have posted here earlier but aw well,

I saw the Wolverine movie for the first time at the Midnight premiere in my town. I got off of school and headed straight for the Palladium IMAX and waited for about 6-7 hours for them to allow us into the screening. While in line Gary and I met a few cool people and talked True Blood and other things. Then we just hung out, messing around, all that. At around 9 PM, more people began to arrive and it wasn't until 11 PM that two-three idiots cut in front of me and a few other people before us. Oooooooo, I was so friggin' mad! The stupid lady who worked there didn't even do crap about it! And to make it worse, they chose caca seats. Wtf? If you're going to cut...get good seats! *Slaps them in the face then rips out their throats* >>...Victor Creed moment.

ANYWAY!

The movie was amazing though none to accurate with the comics. The casting was great and in all of the scenes they were in, I was drooling over Logan, Victor, and Remy. <33 Guh, could they have chosen better people to play the characters? My only beef, though, is that Gambit and others had hardly any screen time at all. :( I wanted to see more of Gambit, Wade/Deadpool, Victor, hell even the BLOB! The movie could have afforded to be much longer and not so much fast-paced in the beginning. I would have loved to see more of the younger James Howlett but I suppose not all of us can have our way. I had the Deadpool ending the first time. When I saw it in my town I had the Logan one. I want to see what others there are. I'd love to see more Remy or Victor. ;)

There isn't much more to say. I wish it had been longer, though it was great. And need I say it? ...Hugh Jackman has one hell of an ass...

WEE! Quick Post Before Bed.

Well, I'm a bit disappointed that my city didn't win the premiere showing for the Wolverine movie, but hey...I GOT WOLVERINE TICKETS! May 1st can't come soon enough. As much as I'd love to see Hugh Jackman walk by me, or even be in the same state as me, I figure it'd be close enough to see him in all his sexy and animalistic glory. <3 I did a dance when I bought the tickets and even woke up Gary to squeal into the phone. :)

Wolverine.

Just a little over eleven days until the Wolverine movie comes out in theaters. I'm worried about the hometown winning results tomorrow, and I'm REALLY hoping San Antonio or Austin wins the premiere, for I'll be able to go. I've dreamt of at least seeing Hugh Jackman walk by, as funny as it sounds, so this is the perfect opprotunity...

Tired of school, though I've qualified for dual-credit. Just have to catch up on absences and my Geometry grade.
